Seetec takes 5-year lease on offices in Bristol's Quorum3rd June 2014

Seetec takes 5-year lease on offices in Bristol's QuorumThe economic recovery in Bristol is well underway according to commercial property experts Colliers International who have already witnessed a spate of office lettings since the beginning of 2014, including their latest deal, involving employment and training specialist Seetec, which has taken a new five year lease on 4,014 sq ft on part of the first floor at the Quorum.

Formerly home to several of Bristol City Council's departments, this distinctive five-storey building in Bond Street is now owned by Aviva Investors who have remodelled the main reception and progressively refurbished the suites to create modern offices with a range of major tenants including Echo Managed Services, Hogg Robinson, Clarity OSS, Camcode and Planglow.

A flexible leasing policy and willingness to sub-divide has been a key factor in the demand for space at the Quorum, said Julian Cobourne of Aviva Investors.

Chris Meredith a Director from joint agent Savills, said: “Q1 take-up highlighted increased activity, especially in the sub-3,000 sq ft bracket.

“Clear demand for top grade and refurbished accommodation is going hand in hand with the drop in supply of older, poor quality stock, some of which is being taken out of the market for conversion into residential accommodation.”
