The Direct Line Group has bought Direct Line House, a six-storey Grade A office building in Birmingham, for £25.1 million on a share deal basis.
Direct Line was advised by DTZ's investment team, while the German vendor Deka-S-Property Fund No. 2 GmbH was represented by Savills and CBRE.
Direct Line House, which is in Livery Street, was built in 2001 and offers 63,393 sq ft of office space. The property is let on a full repairing and insuring lease to UK Insurance Limited for 20 years from April 2001.
