Coca-Cola has introduced Coca-Cola MIX, a new platform designed to reshape how consumers mix and enjoy its products. This initiative seeks to establish Coca-Cola as a foundational ingredient in modern drinking culture. Set to be activated across various channels through 2026, Coca-Cola MIX connects bartending creativity with real drinking experiences.

With this launch, Coca-Cola aims to inspire innovative ways of mixing, serving, and enjoying its beverages. The platform will feature an initial suite of serves developed from popular varieties like Coca-Cola Original Taste, Diet Coke, and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. The brand is betting on the growing trend of mixology and cocktail culture to engage consumers.

Key figures involved in the project include ambassadors Giulia Cuccurullo and Pritesh Mody, who are contributing to the creative direction of Coca-Cola MIX. Daniel Nemni, Marketing Director for Coca-Cola GB, emphasized the significance of this initiative by stating, “Coca-Cola has always been at the centre of how people mix and drink – Coca-Cola MIX gives that truth a platform, a creative direction, and a reason to keep growing.” This reflects the brand’s commitment to evolving with consumer preferences.

The activation plan for Coca-Cola MIX includes significant cultural events such as FIFA tournament activations and major music festivals. Observers anticipate that these events will showcase new mixing possibilities, allowing consumers to experience Coca-Cola in fresh ways. Additionally, Fanta has recently launched a limited edition Dark Cherry variant as part of its Wanta Fanta campaign—further expanding the beverage landscape.

This new Fanta variant features an enticing combination of apple and cherry flavors and showcases a character from the Diablo universe on-pack. As part of its promotional strategy, Fanta is also running an on-pack gaming promotion in partnership with Xbox, coinciding with Xbox’s 25th anniversary. Such collaborations highlight how beverage brands are tapping into gaming promotions to reach younger audiences.

As Coca-Cola MIX rolls out across retail, digital, and social channels throughout 2026, it aims to create a living foundation for mixing with Coca-Cola products. The brand’s focus on innovation within cocktail culture reflects changing consumer habits—where traditional soft drinks increasingly find their place in mixed drinks.

Rob Yeomans, vice president for commercial development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, noted the cultural impact of gaming by stating that “Gaming isn’t just entertainment; it’s a cultural force with massive reach across our core audiences.” This recognition indicates that Coca-Cola is keenly aware of current trends that influence consumer behavior.
