Newport University welcomes Kymin as corporate patron9th April 2012

South Wales financial services business Kymin has become a corporate patron at Newport University.  Robin Hall, Kymin

Kymin Financial Services Operations Director Robin Hall, a graduate of the city's university, said: “We see the link as being mutually beneficial for ourselves and the university. The financial services industry is an important, sustainable and developing industry in South Wales and one which has been identified by the Welsh Government as a target growth area for Wales and south Wales in particular.

“We will be looking to work closely with the university both in terms of visiting the campus to offer advice and instruction and will also, be inviting post graduates, undergraduate and graduates, to take the opportunity to spend time here at Kymin understanding the intricacies of modern financial services industry both in terms of financial advice, investments and stock broking.”

Kymin joins an exclusive band of blue chip Newport and South Wales businesses invited to become corporate patrons of the university.
The two way relationship will allow businesses to avail themselves of networking opportunities provided by the university while the university will be ale to offer their students internships at the patrons’ businesses.
