A former hair and beauty salon/offices at 1 Station Bridge, Yaxley, Peterborough has been sold by the Peterborough office of commercial agents Barker Storey Matthews for use as a veterinary practice by its new owners Emma and Edward Jones, who will be trading as Station Bridge Veterinary Surgery.
The 2,189 sq ft premises, which occupies a 0.2 acre site has been converted over the past six weeks ready for use as a small animal veterinary centre.
Richard Jones, director at Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office who carried out the sale, said: “The property was ideally suited for conversion to a new vets practice. We had a lot of interest in this property. It was very much a one off building being detached, fronting Broadway and having its own dedicated car parking. Other interest came from parties looking to convert to serviced offices, reuse as a hair and beauty salon, extend for industrial use, as well as developers looking to possibly conversion to residential uses.”
Edward Jones added: “The location was ideal for our new practice. The building is now fully converted and we are now fully open for business and are having an 'open day' on the 28 January 2017, for anyone who wants to come along and see what their new vet can offer them. We will specialise in small animal work and our aim is to give outstanding patient and customer care.”
