Furley Page appoints new Head of Real Estate21st May 2012

Jeremy Licence (41) has rejoined Furley Page as partner and Head of Real Estate, a new role which has been created to help the law firm build its property work. 

Under Licence's guidance, the new Real Estate team brings together all of Furley Page’s property-related work, including agricultural, commercial, residential, educational and property. 

Licence started his career as a commercial lawyer in 1998 when he joined the commercial property team at a firm of solicitors in Ashford, having previously been a lawyer in the criminal justice system for ten years. He moved to Furley Page in 2000, where he became a partner in 2003. He developed a large client base, ranging from developers and property investors to banks, and institutions doing all types of commercial property work.

In 2007 Licence moved to a regional law firm where he became a member of the LLP and Head of Real Estate. He worked on large-scale and complex property acquisitions and sales, lettings, development funding and property joint ventures. He also carried out portfolio and estate management.
