Vita (Europe) Ltd has landed C6-Intelligence Information Systems Ltd as subtenants in Vita House Jacobs Yard, Basingstoke.
A five-year sublease has been agreed between the parties for 3,000 sq ft of fully refurbished and air conditioned space. Baker Davidson Thomas advised Vita in the transaction, having sold the building to them as a freehold a year ago. Vita’s business operations will continue to be run from the top floor in the same building, with C6 occupying self-contained space on the ground and first floors.
C6 is a leading provider of global intelligence information on both individuals and companies, enabling clients to take a risk-based approach to managing fraud, money laundering and staff compliance risks. The company will be relocating from its existing offices in Andover.
Vita (Europe) Ltd researches, develops, manufactures and markets a range of honeybee health products worldwide, and have distributors in over 60 countries.
Richard Thomas at BDT said: “It is refreshing to see that speculative refurbishment still succeeds in this market. Vita had to invest in a refurbishment programme after having bought the freehold of this building, but they bit the bullet and it’s paid off for them.”
