Leicester-based contractor and developer Moseley Brown has completed works on its latest project - the transformation of a former public house in Thurnby, Leicestershire into a local food store.

The Swallow Inn on Station Road in Thurnby has been completely refurbished and the ground floor space is now leased as a store by The Co-operative Food. The second storey two flats for private rent.

Steve Brown, Managing Director, Moseley Brown said: “We are extremely proud to have been involved in this project and are delighted with the finished result. The site is perfectly placed for this type of regeneration and, now work is complete, the new store will not only provide an essential amenity for local residents but will also rejuvenate the area.

“With additional, much needed rental space, the new use for this site will benefit the whole community”.

James Phillips, Director, APB Commercial Property Consultants said: “This has been a challenging and complex project and the transformation from public house to the facilities is testament to all those involved.
