New appointments for DTZ in Birmingham18th September 2012


DTZ in Birmingham has appointed four new members of staff to its National Property Management team.

Neil Robinson and Jonathan Cottrell have joined the retail active management and portfolio active management teams as Surveyors, while Emily Philips and Chris Monteith join the facilities management team as Roving Facilities Managers.

Joining from Corby Borough Council where he was a General Practice Surveyor, Neil Robinson joins DTZ’s 20 strong retail active management team in Birmingham. Neil will be responsible for the asset management of shopping centres across the Midlands including Telford Shopping Centre.

Jonathan Cottrell joins DTZ from Mainstay Commercial where he was a Commercial Facilities and Property Manager for Whittington Hall in Worcester. In his new role within the portfolio active management team, he will be providing professional management and asset management services to Calthorpe Estates, one of the largest landowners in Birmingham.

Emily Philips and Chris Monteith both previously had roles as Property Administrators at DTZ but have now joined the facilities management team as Roving Facilities Managers. They will be responsible for 50 sites across the West Midlands, providing key management services, including Health and Safety advice, conducting risk assessments, managing security contracts, cleaning contracts and grounds maintenance.
