Waterfords Land & New Homes is delighted to announce the expansion of the department with the launch of Hampshire Land, introduced to build on the growing success of the Surrey Land operation and to develop much needed projects in the district following the local council's recent plans to build more than 2,000 new homes across Hart.
Steve Sadler, previously Branch Manager of the Camberley office, has been appointed to head up and manage the new operation. Based at the head office in Fleet, Steve will focus on business within the Waterfords Hampshire offices, Fleet and Yateley, while also looking further afield into surrounding areas including Farnham, Hook, Basingstoke, Hartley Wintney and Dogmersfield.
Gary Brook, Waterfords Land Director, said: "Steve has a highly successful and proven track record within the land industry and comes with a wealth of experience. We are therefore excited about the opportunities and expansion that lies ahead for the Land & New Homes department."
Steve Sadler said: "There has been a big shortage of housing throughout Hampshire since the recession resulting in many developments being put on hold. The recent news that the council are looking to allow more planning to go ahead from now until 2029 is a real positive for the area and we are really looking forward to the prospect of launching new developments and individual new build homes to the market. We have already been in discussions with developers in regards to new opportunities and actually have a luxury five bedroom home in Fleet launching early next year."
