Trio of industrial lettings for Innes England in Derby9th January 2013

Innes England, acting with joint agent Gadsby Orridge, has let three units at Derby Trading Estate.

Three industrial units have been snapped up by auto traders in the business hub of Derby Trading Estate, round the corner from car dealership hotspot Sir Frank Whittle Road, echoing the trend of modest industrial units bolstering the commercial property market.

Unit 1 has been let to webuyanycar.com, which has relocated from smaller premises and was attracted by the easy access and high profile position of the estate.

Unit 23 has been let to local car dealership, Fosters of Derby. Shane Foster of Fosters of Derby said: “Innes England understood the requirement when starting a new business to keep overheads low. To that end we were able to negotiate, through them, a deal we were very happy with on this property.”

Unit 4 has been let to Derbyshire Caravan Services, which has relocated from other premises within the city.

Each unit extends to 2,482 sq ft and includes office, roller shutter loading doors, and staff facilities. The buildings are of portal frame with brick and insulated metal clad elevations.

Tim Richardson from Innes England who acted on behalf of the landlord said: “I am delighted these businesses have relocated to these properties, which is an excellent fit with their accommodation requirements and allows them all to take advantage of the high profile position of the estate. Two other units are currently available on the estate and are being refurbished ready for new tenants.”

Derby Trading Estate is located in a prominent position on Stores Road adjacent to the A61, one mile north east of Derby city centre with direct access to the A52.
