On behalf of Greene King, Savills has sold the vacant freehold interest of the former Holbury Inn, Holbury near Southampton to a private individual for £410,000.
The two-storey, detached building occupies a prominent roadside location on Long Lane in Holbury village. Positioned within a 0.5 acre (0.2 hectare) site, a former trade garden is located to the back of the property, whilst a car park is allocated at the front.
Richard Acton, surveyor of leisure and trading at Savills Southampton, sasid: “We are pleased with the price achieved on the former Holbury Inn. Long Lane is predominantly retail-led and the property would suit a variety of alternative uses, subject to planning.”
The private individual was unrepresented.
