Bruton Knowles appoints senior surveyor in Gloucester31st May 2013

The Gloucester office of Bruton Knowles has appointed internationally experienced senior surveyor James Pullin BSc MRICS to its commercial team. James joins Bruton Knowles having worked in a range of roles, most recently as a valuation specialist in the hospitality, leisure, care and retail sectors across the south west for a major specialist consultancy based in Bristol.

Prior to that James spent six years at Bayleys Valuations, New Zealand’s largest full-service real estate company. Based in Auckland, James worked on a wide range of commercial valuation and wider professional services work across Greater Auckland. Before moving to New Zealand, he established his specialism in licensing and leisure valuation work with four years working in Manchester for property consultancy Edward Symmons.

James has over a decade of experience, covering a broad spectrum of commercial consultancy work, with strong expertise in valuations, which has led him to work with all of the major UK lenders over his career. His most recent role prior to joining Bruton Knowles also involved the valuation of property as a going concern, in order to help banks and other investor clients make informed decisions about potential acquisitions and disposals.

James has been appointed to bring specialist valuation skills to the commercial team at Bruton Knowles’ Gloucester office, as it goes through a continuing period of growth and expansion, supported by a range of new project instructions and new clients.

He has also had significant national and international valuation experience. Most recently he has built up a strong understanding of markets across the south west, which will enable him to offer great value to our client base.”
