Turley Associates appoints new head of urban design31st May 2013

Planning and urban design consultancy Turley Associates has strengthened its urban design team with the appointment of Jaimie Ferguson.

Jaimie joined the firm on 13 May as head of urban design and masterplanning and will lead Turley Associates’ 15-strong urban design team. He joined from BDP where he was director of urban design for the North of England and also worked extensively internationally.

He is an experienced and innovative designer, advising on citywide spatial strategies through to site-specific design. Recent projects include a masterplan for 800 family homes on the site of the former ‘Ings’ housing estate in East Hull, as well as acting as lead designer on an internationally significant development in North Manchester of 3,500 homes over a 20 year period that will put the city at the forefront of sustainable development.

I am delighted to be joining the company to lead what will be a newly integrated, national design offer.
