The Jole Rider charity, which provides educational resources and bicycles to enable African children to get to school, has expanded into larger new premises in Tetbury in a deal negotiated by Alder King. The charity has relocated from a former aircraft hangar to Units 2/3,The Bike Shed, on Hampton Road Industrial Estate.
The units, which have been taken on a new ten year lease, provide 13,523 sq ft of office and showroom space and a more welcoming environment for Jole Rider's monthly Bike Jumbles where it sells bikes, cycling clothing and accessories in support of its bikes4Africa programme. The space also allows for the processing of thousands of bikes that the charity sends to Africa every year.
Alison Williams, associate at Alder King’s Swindon office, said: “This small but very successful charity has over the past six years developed a number of educational programmes and needed larger, more consumer-friendly premises. This double unit was a perfect fit for them.”
Alder King acted on behalf of the landlord R Tincknell & Son Ltd. Jole Rider was unrepresented.
