APC success for Hazel Whittingham and Nicholas Wood at Jones Lang LaSalle11th July 2013

Many congratulations to newly qualified chartered surveyors, Hazel Whittingham and Nicholas Wood, who have gained their APC qualifications with Jones Lang LaSalle Birmingham.

Hazel Whittingham was first employed as a secretary to one of the teams in the Birmingham office, but demonstrated such an aptitude for the role and property that Jones Lang LaSalle sponsored her to undertake a degree in Real Estate.

Nicholas Wood joined in 2009 on a temporary contract and so impressed the firm, that he in turn was offered a full time graduate contract.

"We both feel fortunate, having been supported as graduates in tough economic times that Jones Lang LaSalle was still willing to invest in us and develop our careers." said Hazel.

"We have worked with a number of the teams and gained such a great insight into the industry. Now is an exciting time to be working in Birmingham with large scale investment projects underway and a growing local economy which will hopefully attract further new development in the city."

Hazel will now be joining the Rating team and Nicholas is joining Valuation.

Nicholas added: "Joining the top Valuation teams in the Midlands enables me to get involved in some high profile projects and clients, really helping me to develop my skills as a valuer and building on my existing experience."
