AJW Aviation takes 5 year lease on offices at Merthyr Tydfil15th July 2013

AJW Aviation, the global specialist aviation company, has entered into a new five year lease on 3,250 sq ft of office space at Orbit Business Centre, Merthyr Tydfil, in a letting arranged by Jones Lang LaSalle. The acquisition of the last anchor unit on the scheme follows the 3,000 sq ft letting to local accountants BTP Associates earlier this year.

AJWAviation conducts business with more than 800 airlines in over 100 countries. They supply, exchange, repair and lease aircraft spare parts and guarantee delivery from a core inventory of modern Airbus and Boeing aircraft spares, which are valued at more than US$450 million.  They operate out of London, Montreal, Dubai, Singapore and Miami with sales and service support from a network of local offices globally, including South Wales.

Rhydian Morris, Director in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Cardiff office and sole letting agents for the scheme said: “The Orbit Business Centre, developed as a joint venture between Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council and Welsh Government, has seen a good level of take-up over the last six months, which directly relates to a positive upturn in demand as well as the high quality office specification and facilities provided.”
