Bruton Knowles appoints new Head of Rural Estate Management18th November 2013

Philip Cowen has been appointed Head of Rural Estate Management at Bruton Knowles’ Gloucester officeNational property consultancy Bruton Knowles has appointed Philip Cowen, aged 41, as Head of Rural Estate Management at its Gloucester office.

Philip Cowen will be heading up a team of rural professionals to support and help estate owners, farmers and rural business realise the full value of their land and assets.

Formerly with Carter Jonas for 15 years, Philip studied at Eton and the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester, before embarking on a career that has seen him deliver the help and advice needed to run a successful enterprise covering all aspects of farming, rural life and estate management. Bruton Knowles clients will benefit from his considerable experience acting for both private clients and corporate landowners.

Cowen said: “I am delighted to be joining a business that has more than 150 years of rural heritage. The firm is clearly still young at heart with a real enthusiasm to embrace new and emerging opportunities.
