Commercial property specialist Mather Jamie has overseen the purchase in Leicester of a 13,000 sq ft industrial building on 1.8 acres of land for more than £1 million, together with an additional four acres of storage land, on Quartz Close, Enderby.
Jones Lang LaSalle was appointed as Joint LPA Receivers and acted on the disposal of the property.
Alex Reid of Mather Jamie said: “We acted on behalf of a retained client and advised on the purchase and acquisition of the site.
“The site is made up of an industrial building that is currently occupied, as well as nearly five acres of part vacant open storage land.
“The location, communications and size of the site create strong potential for good returns as an industrial investment and for the storage land. One of the site’s main attractions for future tenants will be the close proximity to the M1 and M69.”
James Keeton of Jones Lang LaSalle said: “This is the final one of a number of property assets that we have disposed of as part of the receivership.
“Between all parties, we managed to complete the sale in a very quick and tight timescale to the satisfaction of our clients.”
