Renowned for its use of vibrant colours and quirky graphics, Australian based stationery retailer Smiggle has signed a new ten-year lease for a 900 sq ft retail unit positioned between Zara Home and TH Baker at Brighton's Churchill Square Shopping Centre, which is owned by Standard Life Investments UK Shopping Centre Trust.
This is Smiggle's first store opening outside London, having opened its first store in Stratford in March.
Ed Jenkins, Head of UK Retail for Standard Life Investments, said: “This deal demonstrates the continued appeal of Churchill Square and Brighton as a destination for international retailers as they look to expand outside of the Capital.”
Lunson Mitchenall and Cushman and Wakefield acted on behalf of Standard Life Investments UK Shopping Centre Trust, while Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Smiggle.
