Two new surveyors, Alex Hirst and Ed Newman, have been appointed by national property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton's (LSH) south coast team in Southampton.
Previously with Goadsby estate agents, Alex Hirst has joined LSH's retail agency, where he will work alongside John Butt, focusing on out-of-town and roadside development, acquisitions and disposals.
Ed Newman, who is finishing the third year of a correspondence course with the College of Estate Management, is about to complete an ongoing work placement with the industrial and office agency team, working beside Adrian Whitfield and Andy Hodgkinson.
Sarah Capon, who has been with LSH for over three years, has passed her Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors’ Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) and is now a qualified chartered surveyor.
Graham Holland, head of office at LSH in Southampton, said: “We are experiencing increased demand for our services so we are very pleased that we are in a position to strengthen our team.
“We are delighted that Sarah has qualified and will continue to develop her surveying skills – she has proved that she has the makings of an excellent chartered surveyor. We are also very pleased that Alex and Ed have joined us at this important time in LSH’s growth because their appointments help to strengthen the south coast team further.”
