Gloveman Supplies agrees 15 year lease for Redruth factory unit22nd June 2014

Treleigh Park in Redruth, Cornwall has just acquired its first tenant, Gloveman Supplies Ltd, who have signed a 15-year lease for a 10,000 sq ft factory unit, at £5.50 per sq ft, at the £2.76 million industrial development.

The development was partly financed by the European Regional Development Fund Convergence Programme with the developer, H. G. Sites Ltd, providing the match funding. The scheme is due to be completed in July 2014.

Chris Pomfret, Chair of the LEP and Deputy Chair of the Convergence Local Management Committee, which steers the Convergence programme said: “Treleigh Industrial Estate has received major investment thanks to ERDF Convergence. I have seen five other plots on this estate built and filled with Cornish businesses over the life of Convergence. Now we welcome the expansion of GSL onto Treleigh Park as another company working towards future growth thanks to the partnership of the private developers making Convergence investment work as hard as it possibly can.” 

Shaun Hunt, Director at H G Sites Ltd said: ‘We are delighted to secure a deal with GSL to become our first tenant at Treleigh Park which is currently one of few options available in the area for high quality industrial premises. It is well located on the edge of the town and directly adjacent to the A30 which is the main arterial route through Cornwall giving excellent road access to Cornwall both west and east and Exeter and the M5 to the east. We are confident that the remaining units will secure strong interest.”
