Subway, the fast food operator, has acquired new leases on two stores in Bath and Cheltenham.
The chain has taken over the existing lease on the former Toni & Guy store at 31 Southgate Street in Bath, which has 1,513 sq ft of space, for an annual rental of £30,000.
In Cheltenham, Subway has acquired a new 15 year lease for £36,000 per annum on a new unit measuring 1,2000 sq ft, in the Gallagher Retail Park.
Both stores are currently being fitted out and will open later in the summer.
Jason Herbert, retail Partner of Hartnell Taylor Cook LLP, who advised Subway on both lease acquisitions, said: “Subway is a fast growing and exciting food operator, which is continuing to look for high profile units located throughout the South West and these two stores will fit comfortably into its portfolio. We are in discussions on several additional sites on Subway's behalf.”
David Menzies Associates advised Toni & Guy and Wilkinson Williams advised British Land, the landlords of the Gallagher Retail Park.
