Cleaning equipment manufacturer Kärcher has chosen Nottingham as the location for its second company-owned UK store.
Property consultants Williams Gunter Hardwick has acquired Unit 14 Poulton Drive, a 5,102 sq ft building just off the main A162 Doncaster road.
The property is next to Topps Tiles and Kärcher has taken on a new underlease from Topps Tiles, which expires in March 2022, for an initial rent of £30,000 per annum, with a rent review in March 2017.
Kärcher will be refurbishing the unit with a view to opening in October, followed by an official opening in early 2015.
Stuart Williams of Williams Gunter Hardwick said: “Kärcher’s first company-owned store - in a former car showroom in St Philips Causeway, Bristol - has proved a huge success for them and this is another high profile location. As well as serving the public and professionals, their new Nottingham base will act as a hub for their Midlands distribution network.”
