Border Group buys Caerphilly industrial building at Penyfan Industrial EstateLambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has sealed the deal on the sale of a 119,911 sq ft building on Penyfan Industrial Estate in Caerphilly, South Wales to the Border Group.

Formely used by Unisem, the property was built in 1995 and is in a good location, set within 24 acres of landscaped grounds, as well as offering a mixture of facilities, including warehouse space, air conditioned offices, conference rooms and staff areas.

DTZ, which advised the Border Group on the purchase of the industrial unit, envisages the industrial unit appealing to a wide range of companies. DTZ’s Rob Ladd said: “The high standard and extent of its facilities are likely to appeal to a wide range of companies looking for a desirable workplace. It may suit a single occupier or could become a new technical and pharmaceutical centre of excellence for the Caerphilly area should several companies operating in this sector choose to share the space.”

‘’With gatehouse facilities and the whole development further enhanced by a security gated entrance and feature canopy reception as well as substantial staff and visitor car parks, we’re confident it will attract considerable interest.’’
