A joint venture deal between West of England Developments Ltd and Strongvox Homes has been agreed through CJH Land for a site in Trull, a village on the outskirts of Taunton in Somerset.
The land, at Amberd Lane, will have 30 homes built on it - 20 of which will be executive detached homes, while the remaining ten will be affordable housing.
CJH Land director Matt Hiles said: “This is a smart village location offering a picturesque setting close to open farmland with great views toward the Blackdown Hills. And yet the site is less than three miles from the centre of Taunton.”
Matthew Hiles said joint ventures were becoming increasingly commonplace in the industry as developers linked up with housebuilders to share the initial costs to push more schemes forward.
“This scheme is in a great village location and will deliver prestige detached homes alongside much needed affordable homes for local people.”
