Audi Unveils RS3 Competition Limited Edition
The Audi RS3 Competition Limited will be a highly exclusive model, with production capped at just 750 units worldwide. Prices for this limited edition will start at £92,855 for both the Sportback and saloon bodystyles.
Under the hood, the RS3 Competition Limited boasts a 2.5-litre in-line five-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 394bhp and 500Nm of torque. This performance enables the car to accelerate from 0-62mph in just 3.8 seconds, with a top speed of 180mph.
To enhance its performance, the RS3 Competition Limited features a torque-vectoring rear differential and a new suspension setup with adjustable coilover suspension. Additionally, the exhaust system has been modified specifically for this special model, allowing drivers to fully appreciate the five-cylinder soundtrack.
Audi is celebrating the five-cylinder engine’s golden jubilee with this release, incorporating unique styling elements and extensive use of matt-finish carbon fibre throughout the vehicle.
Only 11 units of the RS3 Competition Limited are designated for the UK market, all in five-door form. Deliveries are expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Gernot Döllner, an Audi executive, noted, “The RS3 Competition Limited represents its ultimate form,” highlighting the significance of this model in the brand’s lineup.
However, details remain unconfirmed regarding UK allocations of the car. There are also conflicting reports about the future of the five-cylinder engine, with uncertainties surrounding the business case for re-engineering it to comply with Euro 7 emissions regulations.
As the automotive industry evolves, the RS3 Competition Limited stands as a testament to Audi’s commitment to performance and engineering excellence, while also marking a significant milestone in the history of its five-cylinder engines.
