Bryson DeChambeau Wins Fourth LIV Golf Title in Singapore

Bryson DeChambeau won his fourth LIV Golf title with a thrilling playoff victory over Richard T Lee at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore. DeChambeau finished the tournament at an impressive 14 under par, while Lee had set the clubhouse target after birdieing four of his final six holes.

In the final round, DeChambeau posted a five-under 66, showcasing his skill and determination. His victory not only marked a significant achievement but also earned him a substantial prize of $4 million. In contrast, Lee, who finished as the runner-up, took home $2.25 million.

DeChambeau’s win was particularly notable as it was his first 72-hole victory since the 2024 US Open, a gap that he was eager to close. Reflecting on the day, DeChambeau remarked, “What a day, that was crazy,” highlighting the excitement of the playoff.

However, the playoff was not without its challenges for Lee, who made a three-putt bogey from 10 feet, a moment he described as frustrating. “It was a short putt and I wanted to just hit it hard, and I hit it a little too hard,” Lee explained.

DeChambeau’s equipment choices also played a role in his performance; he utilized a Krank Formula Fire LD driver and a prototype set of irons from Avoda Golf, along with a LA Golf SIK Pro C-Series Armlock putter. Notably, he switched to a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball for this tournament, which may have contributed to his success.

Looking ahead, the next LIV Golf event is scheduled to take place at The Club at Steyn City in South Africa from March 19-22, where DeChambeau will aim to continue his winning streak.

Details remain unconfirmed regarding any potential changes to the tournament format or player participation in upcoming events.
