Jason manford: New Zealand Welcomes and Gary Barlow for Exciting Travel Series

ITV has commissioned an exciting new travel series featuring Jason Manford and Gary Barlow, titled “Gary Barlow’s Food & Wine Tour: New Zealand.” This six-episode series, each lasting 30 minutes, promises to showcase the breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture of New Zealand.

Produced by Rock Oyster Media in association with Tourism New Zealand and Great Rail Journeys, the series aims to capture the essence of travel through genuine moments of connection. As Dave Riley from Great Rail Journeys puts it, “the most powerful travel stories come to life when you create genuine moments of connection – between people, cultures and landscapes.”

Viewers can expect a mix of adventure and humor as the duo engages in activities such as tandem biking and even rescuing penguins. David Nottage, the executive producer, expressed enthusiasm for the pairing, stating, “Gary is a much-loved, charismatic and inquisitive traveller. Pair him with his mate Jason Manford and belly laughs and high adrenaline are guaranteed!”

This series follows the successful previous installments featuring Barlow in South Africa and Australia, which reached an impressive 5 million viewers. The anticipation for this new venture is palpable, as fans eagerly await the duo’s comedic chemistry and adventurous spirit.

Leanne Clarke, the Assistant Commissioner for Entertainment and Daytime at ITV, played a pivotal role in commissioning the series, ensuring that it aligns with the network’s commitment to engaging and entertaining content.

As the series gears up for production, details remain unconfirmed regarding the premiere date and specific locations within New Zealand that will be featured. However, the excitement surrounding this collaboration is undeniable, promising a delightful journey for viewers.
