Amazon Prime Video Expands Offerings
Amazon Prime has grown from a simple free shipping subscription in 2005 to a sprawling membership program with more than 200 million members worldwide. As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the value of its Prime Video service, Amazon has announced a new promotional offer for Mubi, a curated streaming service.
From March 10 to March 21, 2026, Prime Video subscribers can add Mubi to their subscription for just $7.49 per month. This represents a 50 percent discount from Mubi’s usual price of $14.99 per month, allowing subscribers to save a total of $22.50 during the promotional period.
Christina Buff commented on the offer, stating, “Streaming deals don’t come around often. If you want to diversify your streaming lineup for less, be sure to secure this half-priced Mubi deal by March 21.” This promotion is expected to attract new subscribers looking to explore more diverse content.
In addition to the Mubi promotion, Amazon has also introduced the Wonder Project, a faith-based streaming service available exclusively on Prime Video. The Wonder Project offers two subscription plans: $8.99 per month or $89.99 annually, further expanding the variety of content available to Prime members.
Amazon Prime membership itself costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with a special rate of $7.49 per month for young adults, which includes six months free for first-time subscribers.
Prime Video continues to enhance its offerings, having introduced an ad-supported tier in 2025, and provides features such as 4K and HDR streaming, original content, live sports, and offline downloading.
With these new developments, Amazon Prime Video aims to strengthen its position in the competitive streaming market, appealing to a broader audience with varied interests.
As the streaming landscape evolves, observers will be watching closely to see how these new offerings impact subscriber growth and engagement on the platform.
